John Dunsmuir
Born: Ayrshire, Scotland UK; March 7, 1973
Moved to the USA at the age of two.
Currently resides near Cincinnati, Ohio.
"I started playing guitar at the age
of five. My father had a guitar that I always
picked up and plucked for hours while my
friends were out playing army or whatever
five-year-old kids play. My father noticed
that I easily learned songs that he taught
me so he enrolled me in music lessons. I
continuosly took lessons until the age of
seventeen.
In 1990 I was a finalist in Cincinnati’s
best rock guitar contest, and the following
year I placed seventh. I have played in two
successful bands in the Cincinnati area;
Hellagrooves and Emanon, both of which mass
duplication of CD’s were distributed. In
1996 I tried to teach guitar, but found that
I do not have any patience.
Currently I write songs for my own personal
amusement, but lately I haven’t been very
amused. " -John
** John has provided me with great inspiration.
He is a vary talented guitar player and his
ability
to write haunting emotional melodies leaves
me in awe. I enjoy working with him and hope
to collabarate
